Great for any dog owner!
This book is great! It's short (72 pgs, med sized print) so it's great for those who need/want something quick or just those who can't sit through a long book. It gives great descriptions AND pictures of the calming signals. It essentially starts out by describing the calming signals in wolves and then jumps over to describing them in dogs. It dips into all the ways we possibly stress our dogs out and how to ebb those stressors so they can live and play in a more stress-free environment. It also gives you suggestions on how to use these calming signals to communicate with your dog. I constantly use two or three that worked on my GSD when he gets a little too mouthy when we play - he calms right down and gives me a break, and I always know when I'm getting a little too intense myself because he will give me the same signals back.
Love this book!
I recommend it to all my clients!
